Noordse aalbes is een plantensoort uit de ribesfamilie (Grossulariaceae). De soort is nauw verwant is aan aalbes en zwarte bes. Noordse aalbes komt van nature voor in Noord-, Centraal- en Oost-Europa. De soortnaam werd gepubliceerd door Edward Robson in 1795.
