Le Chêne vert ou Yeuse est une espèce d'arbres à feuillage persistant de la famille des Fagacées, présent sous forme de bois clairs et garrigues essentiellement présent dans les régions méditerranéennes. Il est parfois appelé Chêne faux houx, allusion au fait que ses feuilles ressemblent à celles du houx.
