Crotalaria juncea est une espèce de plantes à fleurs de la famille des Fabaceae, plus communément appelée Chanvre indien, Chanvre brun, Chanvre sunn ou encore Chanvre de Mandras. C'est une plante tropicale asiatique. Le chanvre peut être utilisé comme engrais vert, biocarburant, fourrage et comme fibres pour faire des cordages, dans une région tropicale ou subtropicale. L'espèce peut résister à la sécheresse et se plaît dans les régions chaudes. Ses feuilles sont allongées et alternées, et la fleur est de couleur jaune.
