Begonia fischeri est une espèce de plantes de la famille des Begoniaceae. Ce bégonia est originaire d'Amérique centrale et d'Amérique du Sud. L'espèce fait partie de la section Ephemera. Elle a été décrite en 1820 par Franz von Paula Schrank (1747-1835). L'épithète spécifique est un hommage aux travaux de Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer (1782-1854), botaniste allemand qui fut directeur du jardin botanique de Saint-Pétersbourg.
