01Narrative

Argyrotaenia montezumae is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in Guatemala, Mexico and the United States, where it has been recorded from Arizona and New Mexico. The wingspan is 16–20 mm. The ground color of the forewings is ocherous with pale orange-ocherous markings. The hindwings are shining white., 1961: Descriptions of and Notes on North and Central American Species of Argyrotaenia, with the description of a new Genus (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae).
